About Dotti Baker

Dotti Baker spent the past few decades focused on raising her family and working in education. While she considered painting her original passion, she primarily expressed her creativity via crafts and creative learning tools. After moving to the art community at the Westinghouse Lofts, with the encouragement of her fellow "Lofties," Dotti began to paint again. She began taking classes at the Morelli Art Studio where she switched to oil painting. Inspired by her love nature, she focuses her oil paintings primarily on landscapes and wildlife. She continues to learn and try new subjects and mediums.

Her works have been displayed at The Westinghouse Lofts in Hyde Park and Till Wave Gallery in Watertown, and Walpole Library in Walpole. Sept 2018 she had a piece chosen to display at Fay Chandler Emergent Artist show at Boston City Hall. Dotti is retired and lives in Hyde Park. She in a member of The Switch Art Co-op in Hyde Park, Ma.
